About Me

My photo
Lathamsnipe
I have visited Japan many times since 1999 when I first visited and was captivated by the experience. I adopted the pseudonym, "Latham's Snipe" (sometimes called Japanese Snipe) because this bird migrates annually from Japan to SE Australia where it keeps a low profile and is very wary. I liked the analogy but I don't push it too far.
